What new club did you get for Christmas?

No new clubs for me but my wife did buy me a an Ogio Grom bag (black) for Christmas.

I hit some wiffle balls over the house with full swings and it felt and hit just like a short iron. The chipping felt fine when I played with it but my lawn is nowhere near the same surface as the course.

I may have to wait until Saturday to fully play with it. I know tee times are scarce for tomorrow and by the time I get out it will be way too slow to play.[/QUOTE]

It was definitely a fun club to hit. I got to try it pitching, chipping, from the fringe and from about 90 yards out. I probably overused it today just to get a good feel. During the round it was probably hit about 7 times.

The head on it feels heavy - giving a bit of confidence on bump and runs. For me the best results were with a full swing. I probably over hit it twice (my home course greens are faster than most in the area.) The toughest decision at this point is which club will go from my bag - today it was the 9 iron, but long term it will more than likely be one of my hybrids.

Nike Unitized Tiempo for $50 (new)
Mizuno CLK FLI-HI 23* for $50 (demo)
Cleveland 60 degree wedge for $75 (new)
