What are you asking exactly? If you are asking how come your swing isnt producing good shots, then keep practicing...it will come.

pre-plan every shot
hands centered at chest through whole swing
finish in balance
right knee at target
torque the middle during backswing so I don't over roate (recently added)

I just bounce between these whenever my game starts slipping and I'll be right back in it.

I have two main ones:
1) Tempo
2) not too far back and all they way through

If I only have those two thoughts in my head when I'm playing I tend to have a good ballstriking round. Any more and it could get a bit messy

what are your swing thought??i have 3 trust my swing its good, keep my head down the hardest one for me,and that the bll goes where my belly button points.

Your thoughts should be to try and craft a sentence that is minimally intelligible. Your posts are unreadable.

Yup...there's what's really going on inside our heads at the moment of truth!!!! I really don't have many swing thoughts on my real swing....I do focus on some key points on my practice swing and waggle.....exhale and clear my head before pulling the trigger on my real swing. The "pre" thoughts I rotate around are:
  • relax shoulders, arms, wrists and hands....no tension.
  • maintain smooth tempo....no jerking....nice and smooth.
  • maintain flex in knees......get in a good athletic stance and maintain.
  • swing to a full balanced finish.
Those pretty much keep things on track....just rotating them around to focus on the key point that's ailing me at the time. Lately my main theme has been, "Hit this close so you don't have to putt".

My swing thoughts are mostly about my positions (hands, feet, club, etc.) and the ball shape and flight I want. I try to avoid specific swing thoughts unless I'm struggling in some way that day.

Seriously, I try to think one thing only, "Freddie smooth". If I manage it, ball go far and ball go straight.

I'm updating my entry based on a line I read today in Ray Floyd's The Elements of Scoring :

"I had gotten the game down to its essence: no swing thoughts, no complicaitions, just the target, the ball, and me."

im still pretty new to the game, trying to grove my swing right now so i have quite a few things going thru my head. my main thoughts where i'm at right now though would be

eyes down/watch impact
left arm locked @ impact
inside/out release for the draw (don't slice!!)

i just make so much better contact with the ball when i have these 3 things in my head
