Think he is just taking is time untill he is fully healed and of course really enjoyng the time with the family. They are expecting another child soon so enjoying this time and will be back stronger than ever. It is a good thing for his game and his family

I just want to know what is bigger than winning 9 out of the last 12 events your in and 2 seconds. What more can he do to SURPRISE us. Start Playing left handed So he can be the first lefty to win the Grand Slam.

I think the 2nd baby being due in February (?) is a big reason why'd he'd wait until at least then.

Also, the OP said that many athletes have come back quicker from this injury which I'm not sure. ACL reconstruct AND broken bone in leg??

Well, according to what I read before somewhere, Tiger might be the world's best golfer, but he certainly isn't the world's greatest patient! He came back too early before and paid the price for not listening to medical advice.

I think he wants to do it right this time and get the knee sorted for once and for all. Supporting his wife during her pregnancy also makes it easier this time, I would imagine.

I think he prob wants to play it safe/spend some time with his family. He could play well into his 40s so time with the kids while they are growing will be rare...

What is up with this real grand slam stuff. He had all four trophies on his mantle at one time. That is a grand slam.

You will get a program at the tourney. It will be all you need.

World Golf Championships at Doral ... March 12-15. My opinion.

Good call. Doral gaurantees him 4 rounds and a check... although he's not playing for money. He likes the Blue... he's won there 3 of the last 4 years. The course is flat and easy to walk... and he's not that far from home. And we all know he wants at least two tune ups before the Master's. I like Doral and Bay Hill.

I should go pitch the Tiger camp right now! haha.

Since the colors get mixed up, but the yardages are almost the same, let's call the tees "Back" or "Middle" or "Forward": At EagleSticks, your options: Back - Gold - 6508 - 68.7/123 [Link] Middle - Blue - 6124 - 66.9/120 [Link] Forward - White - 5493 - 64.5/112 [Link] At The Virtues: Back - Blue - 6664 - 72.3/134 [Link] Middle - White - 6180 - 70.2/127 [Link] Forward - Gold - 5641 - 67.4/122 [Link] If your handicap index is a 10.0, for example, you would get: EagleSticks - Gold: 8, Blue: 6, White: 4 [((10.0 * 123 / 113) + (68.7 - 70)) * 0.8 = 7.7] Virtues - Blue: 9, White: 7, Gold: 4 [((10.0 * 134 / 113) + (72.3 - 72)) * 0.8 = 9.7] The links are appropriate for each set of tees, but won't multiply the results by 0.8, of course. @StuM, I'll play the Back set.

      The legs won't extend far enough out at all? That's a different problem than the one I've read about everyone having, and it seems to be the opposite problem to what I have.

      Outside of the legs, the bag is great. I have been using it on a cart or push cart, so it’s not as noticeable for now. The legs on the three we have in this house won’t extend out-so the base of the legs is extremely narrow and it’s nearly impossible for it to stand alone, meaning it usually has to be set on the ground. I have the 14 way stand bag, so it’s a bit heavier and may not help the problem either.
