Just thought I'd say hello. I've been lurking for a week or so and decided I'd jump in, as it seems like a great bunch of people around here.

Started playing golf when I was around 25, if you can call it "playing". Had a few crappy lessons and that was about it. Played off and on since then, but not much.

Bought a brand new set of clubs about three years ago, never put them to use. About 5 months ago I began working with a pro at Tustin Ranch Golf Club about two or three times a month. Trying to work all the garbage out of my game.

Got fitted for clubs about a month ago, and very happy with the fit. Playing my first 9 in three years with the pro this Sunday, and playing 18 on President's Day.

Making a real effort to get into this game and square away my swing.

I look forward to talk to you all and spending time reading what you have to say.

Welcome to the board! I got introduced to golf not too far from you - first in Campus Village (UC Irvine housing), in the form of a golf video game, and then at Rancho San Joaquin driving range.
