Matrix/Diamana Shafts

Anyone use these? Are they worth the $$$? How do they perform? Thanks in advance.

I used a couple when I tried my friends' drivers out. The White Board was in a 907 D2 and it was nice. I'm not sure I would pay $300 for it. Hit a launch monitor with it. There are plenty of pros who play $70 shafts because they work out better than the $300 one.

Matrix shafts are the best on the market today and there are numbers out there to prove it.

That said they are stupid expensive.

i am not doubting i say this cause i am very interested about the numbers i know they are the best. do you have the numbers , stats of matrix vs insert shaft name here

I only use Grafalloy Prolaunch Red or Diamana Blue/White depending on the club heads. PL Red is a cheaper shaft but they perform as well as the Diamanas. I would go and get fit to see which shaft fits you best. Expensive does not mean they are better. In my case, they launched the best for me for the 909D2 and 909F2 so that is the only reason why I got them. However, they are very smooth. But on the other hand, if there was a cheaper version that performed similarly, I would go with the cheaper one.

i have a matrix and absoluety love it, i actually hate the club head but shaft cant be removed so i'll live with it because of the shaft. I work in a golf retail store and it was by far the fastest shaft i swung with way less spin than any other high launch shaft i hit

I have played/hit most shafts on the market.. And as you see from my sig, i game a diamana driver, and a Matrix 3 wood.

I really like them.. They both afford a different feeling.. The driver is pretty powerful feeling, but not whippy, and not dead ( thats the best i can describe the PL Red) whreas the 3 wood has a pretty firm feel to it, and when i take practice swings with it, i know that i will hit the fairway because the thing is so stable.


If you watch closely at tourny's on the PGA, you will see ALOT of Matrix's and Diamanas. Tiger, Phil (for a long while atleast) Sergio, Hoffman, Paul Casey, VJ, and many more all play Either the WhiteBoard or the BlueBoard in their drivers, and then you have guys like Camilo, AK, who play Matrix's. But then you get Adam scott, DLIII, who play the V2, a cheap 60 dollar shaft. So the jurys out. The Diamana and the Matrix's definetly work and feel best for me, but obviously thats not true for everyone. Are they worht the money? No, id never pay full price for one, but you can get Flowerband WB's for under 200 on forums, and the same for Matrix's
