I'm thinking Louisville and Kansas!

Yea, BS has done a heck of a job considering what they lost. I hope they do play UNC and beat 'em so we can see Dept. Dawg cry again.

I've spent most of my life golfing - the rest I've just wasted.

How about a Memphis-KU final again? They're both playing outstand ball right now......

You are right---there could be a rematch!

Pitt is really starting to impress me. They were behind last night, and rallied to win by 15. They are one of the top rebounding teams in the country even though they are not that tall.

Wow! Pitt beat UConn again. They are a deserving #1 team, and have a great chance to win it all.

Yup....the UNC / Duke game yesterday was pretty sweet....even though my nine year old son was cheering strongly (loudly) for the wrong team.

It all worked out in the end!!!!

I forget how integral championship level college b-ball was when I grew up in eastern NC. We were surrounded by top notch talent: UNC, Duke, Wake Forest and occasionally NC State. Amazing.

I equate it to my son living down here in the heart of football country....surrounded by SEC giants.

Big XII Tourney this week. Hopefully CU will beat UT tomorrow, I'd rather face them again, but KSU beat UT on their home floor, so if they win hopefully they can do the same on a neutral site.......either way, win that game and get a 3rd shot at Kwho.........

The Big East may well produce the new National Champion, and it may not be Pitt or UConn. Watch out for Villanova!

i agree that the champ will come out of the big East. i still like Pitt or Uconn, but i havent heard much about Louisville. I think they have a chance to make a run at a title too. Time will tell, and with all the confrence tourneys this week, its gets you in the mood for the Madness!

You are right about Louisville---they are "flying under the radar", and many fans do not realize they are 25-5 and ranked fifth in the country. They have been overshadowed by the battle between UConn and Pitt to be #1.

One other thought--I love to follow Gonzaga, because they have a great program and a distinctive name---THE ZAGS!

Has the UConn/ Syracuse game ended yet?

Here in Big 10 country, we're hopeful of getting 8 bids for this year's tournament and making everyone else spitting mad at the committee.

Syracuse in on a tear---knocked off UConn in 6 overtimes, and now West Virginia in only one OT. Now comes the big test---the Louisville Cardinals, who won the Big East during the regular season. What a great conference!

Boy, the Louisville Cardinals and Coach Rick Pitino followed a great game plan in the second half of last night's game versus the Syracuse Orangemen. They kept the pressure of the press on, and knew that would make the tired Orangemen even more fatigued. The boys from 'Cuse hit NO 3 pointers in the second half, and missed many shots near the basket. Johnny Flynn even gave Louisville credit for playing a smart and solid second half. They should be seeded #1 in one of the regionals.

    • Day 105: mirror work today. Focused on not looping my hands at the top of the swing. Straight down.
    • Still working on the backswing a bit. Hand still gets away from the body, out towards the ball, and at A2 the club wants to roll over and get flat at A3. It's just very difficult to shallow from that position like I want. Which makes my downswing work impossible.  Backswing I have been playing around with the left leg straightening to start the backswing. It's like, a slight shove of the hips right with the left leg. Then just keep the flex in the right knee as I turn into it. I kind of like it. I never had a good swing trigger. It helps keep my left knee extended.  Yea, definitely feeling the hand path is traveling down the feet line, and straight up. A little bit of wrist rotation, and a lot more hinge sooner in the right wrist and elbow. I am trying to get the feeling that the arm hinging up then is the cause for the right shoulder to retract to finish the backswing. Club feels much more vertical at A3. I am trying to have my wrist fully hinged by then.  Feel the club and arms stop at A3.5 (my A4). If my arm collapses late, then I turn into that and I am pretty much screwed. The club and arms kind of have a floaty feeling, where they are just suspended in air for a bit, then drop.  Downswing I have been trying to think of a good visual for this mentally. I like the idea of my hands taking a wide arc to my right pocket, or I am taking the back of the hosel and trying to hit the ground behind my right foot.    Left knee stuff, just sooner.
    • Day 78 - 2026-03-10 Backswing work at the net with foam balls, a few real ball swings.
    • Day 525 - 2026-03-10 Got some work in before lessons today (was going to play after but it decided to POUR). Then like three minutes in later on.
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 26) - Worked on weight shift feel using slap stick drill (hands about 6” apart - coming back weight on trail foot - down - thru weight on lead foot….moved it to hitting chips w/9i playing what I call “leap frog” - hit 1st about 10yds, the next a couple past the 1st, for about 6 balls total.  Love it as the lies change, the distances vary making each swing slightly different.
