I have used CG14s in my sig.

Today I picked up a SM Vo(l)key 54 - 11. I messed around with it a bit on the practice area.

What shall I say: I absolutely love it. It feels much better than the CG14. And I definitely do not think it is harder to hit. I cant wait to practice more with it.

Tough call...based on tour guys Cleveland makes the best wedge. I use a set of CG 10's and dont plan on switching ever. I heard over weekend VJay has new wedges in his bag every week. Id guess the same model, just a truck full. Id like to be his neighbor and raid his trash can.

In the bag:

hy brid = Cleveland Hi-bore 19* / 22*
irons = Ping I 5 4 - pwwedges = 52* = Cleveland CG 10 56* 60*putter = 2 ball . mid length

Last year was my first full year as a lefty, the CG14's is what I played with. I also have a 64* clevelend that I love.

The one thing I noted on as I played more and more during the year was the heads of the CG-14's seem very large especially compared to my X-vintage Cleveland.

I am not sure if a Vokey would feel smaller at address, but it is something I plan on looking into this year. That being said, the CG-14's are extremely easy to hit and feel very "head heavy" (something I like) even compared to my 64*.

I'm having the very same debate with myself right now. I've currently got CG10s 54 and 60, and even though I'm somewhat of a hacker, my wedge play is rather tasty. :) I'm almost scared to try something new. I really like the idea of going with the Titleists based upon reputation and style. I like the nickel finish, which is what I currently have on my CG10s.

My CG10s are just so awesome. I have a lot of confidence and I simply hit what I believe for my game are money shots. I am tempted to go with the CG14s based upon my current experience. Also, I love the way the gunmetal looks as it wears away. Such great wedges.

Such a tough call.

Beautiful thing is that I have acquired a bunch of golf store credit at .60 on the dollar, so either way I go, I'm getting a fantastic deal.

I've always been a Cleveland guy, stems back to when there was nothing to debate. I'm very happy with my wedges, they have the loft and bounce that are suited to my game and the courses I usually play.

If I had to start over, I would give the Vokey's a long hard look, but right now, it just doesn't make sense to replace a perfectly good set of wedges just because a 12 handicapper says they're the best

Cheers, Allan

I'd say neither and go with the cg12s!! i'd say vokeys if you like swapping out balls every time you hit it. In my experience, the vokeys tore my b330's to shreds!

I'd say that goes with almost any wedge. If you hit a wedge clean and crisp, you're almost always going to be picking some of the ball out of the grooves; especially if you're using something like a ProV1 or equivalent.

I've found even range balls leave part of their cover in my wedges
