I had to sit back and admire Paul Goydos during the Last Round of the AT&T.; He was playing with Luke Donald, who was having a bad day with the flat stick. Luke was on the back nine and had a 10 footer for birdie and the ball did a 180 around the hole and settled 6" from the hole. They showed a close up of Paul watching the putt and the look of genuine sympathy was touching. In a world of Egos and independent contractors its refreshing to see a guy pull for someone like that.

I agree. He is by most reports also one of the more intellegent guys on tour. I hope he has a great year.

Yeah - I enjoy watching him play. If he's in contention, we'll see him.

Great guy. He doesn't have an equipment contract either and he was a teacher before. When he won the Sony, he joked, "I like to win once a decade".

Whats so neat about Goydos is that he realizes that theres a life beyond Golf.. That if you took golf away from him, he still is a family man, and theres nothing better than that..

Paul Goydos - represntn' the LBC - gotta show the love for the homeboy.

from our HS yearbook, "finest golfer to come through Wilson" as a Jr.

I happen to not like Paul Goydos, I'm not really sure why. I think it's because he seems like such a stickler.

I happen to agree with you. I am glad to hear he's a great guy and god knows in this day and age personable and humble pro athletes is what we need. But with that said there is just something about the guy that I don't seem to like. I am not sure that I dislike him, I am just not a fan.

Nice guys never win. If Goydos was a true warrior, he would of feasted on his opponents failure like a fine cut of blood red steak. There is no room for weakness in golf.

    • I had the Reeso putter, but the shaft broke at the insert to the putter head.  The manufacturer/designer passed away and there is nobody to fix them anymore.  I just purchased the L.A.B. works putter about 10 rounds ago and it is awesome!  I like it much better than the face-on putter and any other putter I have used.   Goodbye, Yips!
    • 2/23/25 Musgrove Mill Oak tees 72.3/155 Joined this club this year, and have played several times this year. Yesterday, the greens were the first day open since aeration. I struggled to hold greens, and putted as one would expect on aerated greens. For the first time in a while, my tee game was off and only hit 6 fairways when I have been averaging around 70%. Only 15 holes were open as they repair three holes damaged by Hurricane Helene.    Game continues to decline and handicap continues to increase!
