I finally broke down and bought the Scotty Cameron Squareback putter.
I have been looking at it for a LONG time but didn't want to fork over all that cash.
I went to ride my motocross bike last week and the body just couldn't take it anymore....so I sold it and rewarded myself with the Scotty.
I don't know if it is in my head or what, but this thing sure seems to roll it nice.....

A patriotic american, no doubt. We dont need no Obama bailout as long as kevntri keeps buying scotty's.

I like the looks of the squareback and the fastback but can't seem to pull the trigger on that. I've seen some ebay deals for around $200 to $225 but I just can't justify it. Until my current putter just completely fails me I feel I have to stick with it. One of the newer Odyssey's looks like something that would suit me well but I'm just on the fence. Congrats on biting the bullet. Hope it works well for you.

I too just picked up a Squareback on Ebay and I can't wait to take it for a spin. I currently have a Newport 2.5 and I love it, but I'm curious to see how this squareback will treat me. I hear it's the same weight, just a bigger back but I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on it yet. Thanks!

Good investment i would recommend going and getting it fitted. Just take it to a club fitter and they can bend and set the lie to fit your putting style. $300 investment would pay off alot better if it was custom fit. Putters are more finacky then a driver or irons and we all get them fitted rather then buying right off the rack. Congrats on the putter.

I'm going into a fitting session for my putter this weekend. Maybe even getting a SC in the process. The circa 62 looks great IMO.
