I've been hearing and reading a lot of bitching and moaning about scoring in Majors and I've been disagreeing from the start. And today is why. I know it makes for great story if someone like Larry Mize comes in and wins. Or someone like Chad Campbell to win with a final score of -30.:exaggeration: But it's f*cking boring. We all know PGA Tour pros can fire off insane rounds, but save that sh*t for Childrens Miracle Network Classic. This is f*ckin Augusta National and I REFUSE to to watch every player shoot -10 and above. Last years was perfect. This is just gonna be a mockery of what I think a major should be. HARD!

I havent had any pop ups and you get to see the ENTIRE field come through the greatest holes in golf. God what a terrible thing!!!

Basically the choice is between watching a few golfers (tiger and 3-5 others)play all holes or watch everybody play a few holes. I'd rather see how everybody is playing a few holes, you can compare strategy and get a sense for what is good or bad.

TV coverage blows. Keep track of how many shots you see in between commercial breaks, I've done it before and it's shockingly low, sometimes 2, sometimes 10. You will be shocked at how much they have filler garbage on tv. Masters.org is the way to go.

yeah you are presuming this scoring will continue. These are ideal scoring conditions that will not be around all weekend. I personally liked it today but I agree if it's like this all weekend that would not be cool. I have no problem with it being 10-15 under though.

I doubt the winning score is much better than the -7 currently in the lead. It might get up to -9 or -10, but the wind will pick up eventually. Add to that the fact the pin placements will continue to get tougher as well.

What are you, 17? I think it's possible to complain without the hardly concealed obscenities. Really, grow up a bit.

for a major the winning score should be at most 2/3 under par and should be actually around level! majors are supposed to be difficult! NOT with a player having the chance to break a course record of 9 under!

      Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.

      Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.
