First of all, sorry for bringing up a half-dead thread, but I did a search for a good thread to write my question in, and this was the closest one.

Does anyone know if there will be a new version of Mp-58 next season, like mp-59 or something?

And to write something a bit more On Topic, I really Love the feel and control of mp-58's!! :)

I'm gaming the TZoid Pros, and was wondering how the newer Iron models compare to the feel of these. I'm looking to get a newer set soon, and may look into their GI irons like the MX200s, or stay with a muscle type, depends on how I hit each.

As always, personal preference should be the main indicator here....that said, I have played MP 57's with Proj X as a 12-14 handi the last two years and I just traded them in for MX 200's with the Dynamic Gold XP shaft. I have struggled to break 90 this year and since the I bagged the MX 200's I have shot 84, 79, and 39 (front only). Yes, the shafts are lighter with a higher ball flight than my old shafts.

The take away is they are so easy to hit....its a joke. These rounds included mishits that ended up just off the green and or fringe. I regret fighting the 57s for so long!!! I am happy as a clam. 2 cents. Yes I know I am too lazy to update my 'weapons'.

907 D2 Tour with Fujikura Rombax 7Z08
909 D3 with stock Aldila Voodoo
909 19*with Fujikura Speeder 904HB
909 24* with Fujikura Speeder 904HB
MX 200's (5-GW) with DG XP's MP-10 54* and 58* Kombi B330-S or TP Red's (while they last)

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the MX-19s! Their the most forgiving irons, according to Maltby, that Mizuno has EVER made. I absolutely love them!

And they aren't that 'clunky' either! They feel like forged, but they're cast.

What? 3 posts above yours is a guy raving about MX-19s. Sure it was a year and a half ago, but still.

Hey, well aware that this is an old thread but I´m curious about mizuno t-zoid mx-20 irons. Does anyone have a good answer if these clubs are good for someone who has a hcp around 20? Like how easy are they to play, how forgiving are they, etc. Old clubs but seems to get good reviews.  I strike a 7 iron around 150 if that gives any idea of how I strike for the moment.

I wouldn’t worry about your Handicap. I would just see how they look, feel and sound when you hit them. They are good heads and not blades. The do have a cavity back design, which should be a bit more forgiving.
