Nice swing. What's your preferred ball flight? I just got a Flip and I'm thinking of posting some videos for the Swing Check, too.

Prefered, I'll take medium-high and straight all day long. Unless its windy and I'll take medium-low and straight. Those are the shots I'd like to hit. But its fun to play draws and fades too.

Ben, look at the fence pole in (in the middle of your body) the first video as a reference point for your swing balance. The pole stays in the middle of your body the whole time. Looks smooth....Great job!

My natural ball is a slight draw. A wild hook does show its ugly face one or two times a round though. I've kinda gotten away from the Hogan Five Lesson Grip that I live by. I definitely need to check myself on that.

Modest too ain't i? hahaha.

Really nice extension and turn through the ball. Love your impact position with your hips well cleared -- you are really keeping the swing going through impact. You are likely fairly long, right?

The divot with the 6 iron was really cool -- club was right down the line then the divot flies out every so slightly to the left as you turn on through. What is not to like about that?

i love the driver video, you absolutely unleash on the downswing! Whats your clubhead speed and average distance on drives?

Swing looks great, nice rhythm, good ball position.

But, I couldn't help to notice your hand position with the driver... It look's a bit too far back... Kind of looks like your hands are not straight but at an angle.

I am big headed and i love it. Try it yourself and see how much your game improves.

Fairly long, yes, but definitely not super long. I get by. I used to have a pretty passive swing, but have been working on clearing the hips, and using that move to drag my hands to the ball while using the momentum created by the hips to get through impact the way I do. Aggressively. Thanks for the compliments.

I'll give you 36, beat you and get the cart girl. How about that! uuuwahaaahahahaaaaa

Really never check my clubhead speed. But like I mentioned just up above there, that's something I've really been working on lately. I've been working with a trainer and taking yoga to help with core power.

Swing looks great, nice rhythm, good ball position.

Yeah, my hands are just weird. I was playing golf with my boss and teaching pro yesterday and we were talking about that. I play with a very neutral grip. No matter what I do I can't get rid of that off angle on my left hand. Dunno if my wrist is double jointed or what it is?

Good eye, that is pretty amazing, his head stays in almost the exact same spot horizontally and dips very minimally on the downswing. Better "head action" than Tiger!!

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
