i cant wait til my nephew is old enough to hit around the course... he's only 2 and already has his own set... he loves coming out when my bro(his dad) and i hit the practice area... he's always pulling driver trying to get the ball onto the chipping green... its hillarious now... but soon he'll be kicking our asses

Great story.
My oldest niece (7) has her own putter I got her and I am going to be buying her a set soon. She loves to come watch me hit balls in the yard or go to the driving range.
When I practice short wedge shots in the backyard, she retrieves the balls for me whenever shes at my house.

Is always getting into the golf balls I've got stashed around different places. A lot of them are discontinued balls that are not replaceable. Even so, it really doesn't matter because I like watching him play. He mostly likes to get out a bunch of them and go drop them all on the kitchen floor. He's not quite swinging yet, but I've practiced putting with him. I let him help me cut and assemble a club, and now his big thing is "Gol-gol heads", which translates to "Golf-club heads". Every time he sees a club now he points to the head and says that. I can't wait to take him to the range.

That's too funny (referring to what he yelled to dw). I took my son (9) to the practice hole at the golf course the other night. He hit one into the greenside bunker and says, "Crap! I hit it into the dune."
