Even though I prefer forged half-cavities now, I have a soft spot for my old Ping Eye-2's because they were the first irons I ever used and the only set I used up until my hc got about 7.

Titleist Lite 100's. The set-up looks perfect for me. I still take these out for a round or two each year. A solid shot with these feel smoother than my Nickent's or Mizuno's.

Mizuno T-Zoid Pros that I owned back in the '90s. My AP2's are as close as I've been able to get to the same feel without sacrificing some forgiveness. Unfortunately my game isn't what it used to be.

I just recently bought a set of wilson staff di9. Ive only had the chance to play nine holes with them and so far I'm disappointed. But that may be I got so use to the callaway x18s I was playing with. When I hit them though they are about a club farther - only trouble is, I can't seem to keep from topping the ball with them. Anybody else have this problem with these?

topping the ball has NOTHING to do with your irons. its your swing.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
