That's pretty cool man!! I am sure that it will be more accurate than the simulators are well. My buddy down the street has a simulator so I couldn't justify buying this setup but if I ever move, this would be cool to have! I am currently selling my house to build another one. When I build the new one, I am building a room just for a simulator It will be a great investment for the kids to play with as well...and watch movies on!!

Great setup. Not sure how safe I'd feel hitting a driver indoors. Wouldn't want to shank or skyball one and have it ricochet into my face.

Just curious, your profile is in California? Why would you spend like 3K to hits balls when you can golf and hit balls at the range year round down there? I can maybe see it if you live where Im from and have winter and no golf from Nov to May. Just curious.

Good question. I hate the indoor ranges here, so this would be something I could buy for my garage, but it seems a bit strange for you to buy it.

I work from home and have 2 kids. I never get to the range and it makes things so much easier on me if I can watch them and work on my swing.

It's hard to get others to even watch them when I play, let alone hit the range or practice.

Nice setup you have, wish I lived in the area I would take you up on your offer to try it out. I have been thinking about getting something like the vector pro or the p3 proswing setup to practice in the summer as its too hot to play when its 120 here in Phoenix.

My question is does the vector pro come with any courses you can play like the p3 does? I've used a vector pro at golfsmith and its nice but it was just setup with like a driving range which is nice but having a couse to play would give it some variety. Don't really care for putting on a simulator, heard you can have the computer putt for you on the p3.

Thanks

I am looking to by the vector Pro and would like to know if

you still have and use the vector pro?

what about support and durability

what about the use, is it complicated

Did you found it accurate?

once you go back to the courses or practice range do you feel like your playing the same

did it helped you getting better?

That is a fantastic setup.  I would absolutely love something like that here in Toronto during the cold winter months.  Actually, based on your great post, I may consider the same type of setup!  $2700 isn't toooo bad.

That is a SWEET setup man... I am so glad you posted it I see so much crap out there on who has the best etc.. and had all but given up..

I am trying to figure out how you got such a GREAT deal on it I looked at the websites and they seem a bit more pricey than the 2400 mention can you elaborate a bit more on how you got it on the cheap?

Thank you...

How do you like the true strike mat?  I've been looking for something like this and from the website this seemed like it has some potential.  I know vijay promotes a mat that is supposed to produce the same results but I wasn't sold on the spring mat. Thanks

I live in Long Beach.  I might have to take a trip out to the IE to check out that setup and get some ideas.  I have a range near-by ..  a grass one even .. but family and, hours -- the range closes the grass area at 7:30.. i would prefer a setup at home.  that way i can wack balls after the kid and even the wife goto bed.

In my Grom Stand bag:

Driver: Ping G20, 8.5 Tour Stiff
Wood/Hybrid: G20 3W, Raylor 19*, 22*
Irons: R9 5I - SW, TM CGB LW

How much is one of them true strike mats?  I took a 4x4 piece of plywood, glued about 1/4" of foam on top of that, and then put a piece of carpet on top.  It works way better than any mat I have ever used and cost about $40...I probably could have done it cheaper, but I was picky about the carpet I used....

Clever idea, I was thinking about something similar, but decided on a small, cheap mat (about 30,-), good enough for Basic and Aquired Motion training...
