I would say play a few rounds at your favorite local courses. There are going to be some shots where you say to yourself "I wish I had a ___ right now". That is how you determine whether you need a wood, a hybrid, a sand wedge, or another lob.

In my stand bag:
909D3 with 10.5 degrees of loft and a 45 inch Fujikura Rombax 6Z08, x-flex
909F3 15* with a stock Diamana Blue
FT 18* with an Aldila NV
X-forged ('07), 3-PW with Project X 6.0 CG12, 53/11, and 58* with DSG Red X2, 33"All with Lamkin Crossline Full Cord. (except the putter of...

You seem to have a similar setup to mine. Yet I opted for a deeper range in the wedges. At first glance, i'd say get a wedge, maybe a 548 or a 64*. But after reading maracas2020's post, it made a lot of sence what he/she is saying.

if your sand + AW wedges are the ones that came with the set, like they look the same as your seven iron, do this. Buy an x forged 52 degree wedge, and throw out your sand and AW. Now you have 12 clubs. Pick up either a 2 hybrid or a 4 hybrid, depending on which one you want. than grab a 60 something degree x forged wedge for all your flop shot needs. that makes it the ultimate set for any conditions.

What i did to deifne my ultimate set is played about 200 balls at the range, and saw were my gaps were, independent of club loft, ultimately is distance what you are trying to cover. Understand your gaps, and what you can cover with different setups, say choking the club or reducing power.

I asked about 4 different pro, and got different answers from all...took all their advise and bought what I thouhgt was best for me. Right now my only gap is between my hybrin and the 4i, but that is beecause I can't hit the 4i ver well...about 180 yards max, but I hit my 6i about 165-170, and my 3h about 200 - 210 yards. Bottom line, no matter how good, and how many clubs you have, if can't hit them right, it doen't matter!
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

Picked up a Ping Rapture 24 degree Hybrid for a very cheap price. Went looking for a wedge but bought this. Its an older club but still bought new. Still looking for a wedge.
