Be sure to send the information to the ball and club manufactor, hopefully they still send out cool certificates for your hole-in-one. Frame and put'em on the wall......

Just out of curiosity, how do you do this? I have a hole in one and would like to do this.

I will be dating myself, my h-i-o was pre-email. I sent a letter to Wilson and Titleist with the information (date, course, hole, distance, and such) along with a clipping from the newspaper. Both of them sent me a certificate with the information printed on it. Now days you can probably email them, with a link to the newspaper article.

Curious.....why is the tradition for the owner of the hole in one to buy drinks? I would think it should be the other way around?

Well, I didn't have it put in the paper. I didn't have 3 witnesses either...just one. My gf built me a plaque with the golf ball and tee on top and the card inside the glass. It's pretty cool and much cheaper than the ones you can buy. I guess that will do!

Welcome to the club. I got mine 2 years ago and my Intech Limbo golf ball is displayed with all the other hole in one balls at the club I play. Still trying for number 2.

      I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family

      First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
