I think you get the clubhead way, way too far behind your hands at the start of the takeaway. I think you get well too far across the line at the top with your hands way too high. Your swing currently requires too much timing given how quickly you rotate the face open and then have to rotate it closed coming down. I think you're not likely to be an accurate player.

Why and how do I think these things? Because I used to suck the club back inside, get across the line, and need good timing too.

I also think YouTube sucks for swing analysis, so who knows what else would be evident with more views and better video.

Yeah... way to inside. When your club should be down the line on the backswing, it is already way behind you and the shaft points what looks to be 45 degrees or more to the right. Hard to tell for sure, but starting and stopping the video showed this in one frame.

First thing I noticed, and I noticed it because I have a tendency to do it too, is that your backswing is very wild and you're more or less whipping the club, so that at the top of your swing you have almost no control over the clubhead. I only watched the first swing though.

In my bag:

Unknown model 3 & 5 Woods (next to get replaced)

Your set up looks great. Good posture and your body is well over the ball.

I agree with the rest of the posts though - you take the club back way to far inside which means by the time you get it up you have crossed the line.

Work on a wide take away - keep the clubhead insdie the ball, but outside of your hands.

    • Keyword there was "yesterday" lol. At least it's going to be competitive now.
    • Well, they are. 😳 😄
    • Ehh, it was kinda bad yesterday. Especially from the European side.  Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Sungjae, and Bezuidenhout combined for 4 birdies yesterday... Theegala wasn't good from the US side either.
    • Yah, a little over the top barking behind SS's back and walking away before he putted out (that is straight up poor form IMO), etc. Seems to be trying to punch above his weight class. But then on the same note it's hard to stay awake for a couple of hours of telecast outside of this no? The golf is not bad but there's no soul and that's not the player's fault.  I read something about him 'blaming the Canadian crowd' for their Day 1 plight but that also seems to be a bit of a writer's distortion of what he said as to me it seems he is simply asking the crowds to get a bit more involved. That's fair. Ya' know, the positive, loud energy these type of events need and feed off of. My two cents.
