I think that's better than all the commentators pandering to him. I understand he's the best, but sometimes he makes mistakes, however minute. The booth says "awww, must have been a ball mark, blade of grass, the wind, etc." Couldn't be tiger's fault. Even though every other golfer is playing the same course. The rest of the field gets an accurate critique, though. Stating the obvious in ear-shot might have been rude, but not as annoying as screaming "get in the hole" on the tee of a par 5..

In my bag:
r7 9.5, 47"
18* burner rescue 08
x-18, 3-Pw
cg14 camo, 52* 56* 60* DFX 5500, blade, $70 jewel.. ........Jack herer....mountain dew......You know you wanna play here, pony up::http://www.lakeofisles.com/golf/nort...seflyover.html

Gallery behavior has nothing to do with broadcast commentary. I don't like the pandering from commentators, but I don't think the fans should treat the players poorly at all. In other words, the pandering of the commentators does NOT excuse the behavior of the drunk idiots in the crowd.
