and almost broke 80! So, I've been practicing almost 7 days a week for about 3 months now and had not put a complete round together until yesterday. i went out and shot 39-41 for an 80! I had a 10 foot put on 18 for a 79 that I left 2 inches short! Just thought I would share my happiness with everyone

If your a 15, shouldn't you have broken 80 before? Regardless, congrats.

I don't really keep track of my handicap. Just put a number there when I signed up. Guess I should start though...

80? Maybe not. I've been as low as 16.3, but never broke 85, even on "easy" courses.

To the OP: congratulations! Practice paid off, I see.

I'm assuming you meant finally broke 90? I've only broken 80 maybe six or seven times...although they were pretty low with a few 75's and 77's. But still, that was on a pretty easy course and I'm a 10 handicap.

I currently have similar aspirations. That must've felt quite good.

Congrats. Nice work.

nice job man, my current goal this summer is to break 90.

Great job. Those of you guessing at your handicap are likely guessing high. It is not the average of your scores. It is weighted to your best scores of the last 20 and it is based on the difficulty of the course. My handicap is 17 and I am happy to shoot 90, more likely my score is higher.

Congrats! You're on your way to some great scores if your first round in the 80s was an80.
