Can't Set Up Left...see inside for details...

ok, so any hole that sets me up left...is killing me!
hard to explain

what i mean is...if the hole is a dogleg that turns left, off the tee
i feel "open" all the time and end up hitting a nasty fade or even slice
i used to be able to hit a nice draw around the corner, but i don;t know what it is lately

anyone in the single digits have some advice or a drill i can practice to solve this situation?

hitting a 4 i off the tee 210-225 is always my copout as i am scared of the big stick on these holes

Don't focus or think about where you are going. Select your club, find a spot on the ground you want your swingpath to go. If you play a draw by closing the clubface, set up square to the spot on the ground, knowing it's your swingpath, then close the face a little to get the set up done. Do your waggle, take a look at the spot your body is aiming at, forget where the clubface is aiming and take a solid swing at the ball.

I have this problem too.. there is this one hole at my course thats a driveable par 4, straight fairway, but you have to tee off at an angle to the left and there are scary woods on the right. EVERY time I hit a massive hook into the woods. I think for some reason even though I'm set up at the right angle I feel like I need to adjust my swing to hit it left...
