Most $ you have won at golf?

Im guessing around 7$ in quarters. Me and some friends had a 4 some and played a 9 hole skins game. I won the first few holes and we all kept tieing for the next few then I finally won one. I somehow got all the money.

In our mens league tournament 2 months in a row I have won low net and our team has taken bestball for a total of 50 dollars. I was also 8 inches short of taking $20 for a kp today as well.

A couple years ago I played in a group outing at our club. It was a skins game, $25 buy-in, about 25 players. One guy in my foursome and I are throwing darts all day. On a par 3 that usually gives me problems, I had the ball dunk in the cup on the fly and pop out. Later on a short par 5, I almost holed my 3rd shot. We get to 17, a hole that sets up great for me, I hit a "power fade" around the slight dogleg giving me a perfect full wedge into the green. Two guys in my group hit their approaches to the top left of the pin. I land mine inside of them. So I have a downhill 8-footer for birdie, but two looks at the line. Both guys miss, I drain my putt. At the bar, the guy in my group who was playing well proposed that if any of his skins held up, he would give me my $25 back and vice versa.
As it turned out, my birdie on 17 was the only skin of the day, plus I won closest to the pin on the par 3 that I almost aced for a cool $575. I gave $25 to the guy in my group, and bought scotches and cigars for the host and another guy in the outing who also birdied 17 but didn't buy into the skins game!

About $200 at a blitz two months ago (with a $20 buy-in) - won front, tied for first on the back, and got a skin.

Gotta play for something when I go out- I just play better.

With my regular group it's a $20 nassau, $5 birdies, $10 eagles and a $50 no doubles bet. Presses happen but they're not common and side bets are all over the place. Most I've ever lost in a single round was about $200. Most I've ever taken from those guys is around $400.

My single biggest payday was 10 years ago. We had 16 guys in a $1,000 buy-in skins match at Pasatiempo. I won almost 5K that day. Played like crap but had some strategically placed birdies in the round that saved my ass.

If memory serves, it was $500 a hole for 1-6, $950 a hole 7-12 and $1200 a hole for 13-18.

Couple of hundred in skins once or twice, but nothing really to exciting.

Our normal game is a $20 match play nassau, so no one is ever going to either win or lose the kid's college fund. That's not the point though......I'd rather win $20 from one of my golf buddies than find $1,000 on the ground!

Lets see the most I have ever won was $500 in a casino tournament for the longest drive. I won a $400 skin last year in a tournament and a $200 skin earlier this year.

Most of the time though its just $15-$20 in my weekly game. I lose that much too on occasion as well.

I won over $250 on skins a couple times. Played in a nassau with side games that got out of hand not too long ago walked out of that with $150. I also lost $200 in a nassua partners that got out of hand once too.

$20 last weekend. Did a game in our foursome called 6-6-6

random pick teams for 6 holes at a time (the ensuring that you play with everyone once of course). Do a skins game that way and see how it evens out at the end. I lucked out with my partners doing well when they were with me as I didn't actually win much for us.

With my handicap as high as it is, I don't gamble much but even if I was good I would keep it at small amounts.

I learned my lesson when I use to play pool for money, mostly 9 ball with a friend who was close to me in skill. We started with 1$ on the 5 ball and 2$ on the 9 ball. By the end of the night it was 50$ on the 5 and 100$ on the 9. I ended up losing an entire paycheck, but I paid it despite his protests and stopped gambling for big money.

Most ive ever won in a single round is $278. I won the front back and overall in a 8 man nassau. The most ive ever won off a single guy in a single round is 80 bucks (i think)

$1200 for half of a hole in one pot in a men's club tournament. We put in a buck apiece into the voluntary pot (some guys never got into the pot) each tournament and the pot hadn't been won in 2-1/2 years. Another guy and I both aced the same hole 20 minutes apart in the 4th round of the club championship and split the $2400.
