Cleveland 09 Launcher Irons

Cleveland demo day is coming up this saturday... and the price on this set is absolutely obscene for the amount of club your getting. 3 hybrids with 6 7 8 9 pw regular irons. I'm thinking about picking up a set as my Ping g10s have seen some love.

Anyone tried these?
Should I get graphite or steel shafts?
How is cleveland custom fitting and grooves?

Well when you get to the demo day there will 1 maybe 2 sales or tech guys there that will properly fit you for lie angle and length of club and so on...depending on whos gonna be there just steel or both graphite and steel will be available to hit. I never had graphite in the Launcher. But the Cleveland rep will be able to help you out. Before you take advice from the guys on this board, no offense, let the Cleveland rep help you out after seeing your swing and such. I hope you enjoy the assistance. EDIT: after looking at the schedule. Your going to have the tech van at your place. So trust me, on the fitting, your going to get the full experience. Be sure to book a time with the place in Plainfield. So you get some time with the tech rep. Also he should have available both steel and graphite to hit. the result of the ball flight and feel of them and will be decided by the rep on what to get. If you do decide on the irons, they will be built there and can pick them up at the shop either later that day or the next. Hope you enjoy the demo day.

Thanks a lot of the help. I'm just looking for general thoughts on the irons, I'll be trying them out either way. I've never really had much success with irons outside ping and mizunos, but I don't think I've ever tried cleveland irons. Their wedges are outstanding, and will probably pick up a 52 at the demo day too. I couldn't hit the driver at all though when I was on my demo spree.... not could I much other non ping drivers.

I'll be taking a big look, too bad appointments are 30 minute increments, thats going to be a lot of clubtime very quickly to try out some irons.
