Yes Amy putter

Has anybody ever tried the Yes Amy Putter? It's a reverse face balanced center shaft putter.

i thought about getting one but i just cant get over the look it is a strange piece.

I've putt one before, someone at my local course has one. I wasn't a huge fan of it because it felt like I was going to scuff the front of the face on the ground. I usually like to have the shaft in front of the putter, instead of the other way around.

im not a fan of the Amy putter, but i seriously am debating about changing out my Ping Redwood Anser to Yes!'s Nicky or Callie model, i played a round with my father in-law's Nicky and the ball just seems to come of the face in a more true nature, i think it has to do with the c-groove that they incorporate.

Thanks for the replies. I haven't been able to find one to try out, but I like the feel of the Yes Marilyn, but looking for a center shafted putter.

try the yes carolyne its center shafted and normal looking.its the one im eyeballing.

I just visited their website to see what you were talking about. Man, that GrooveTube is crazy! I would puke if I had to use that!

It's not really that bad. The tube helps with alignment and it has a tall face that helps with consistant contact.

Well, I just got the Yes! Amy putter for $50 on ebay. I've been averaging 2.1 putts with the Nike IC 20-15 and the Mr. Beaseley putter. First round with the Yes Amy putter yesterday, 1.75 putts. So much easier to do a pendelum stroke with this. Only negative is it makes a wierd sound when you miss the sweet spot.
