Seeing as this is a golf forum I figure that there may be a few of you out there that have some interesting golf related collections sitting around. Old clubs, putters, balls, let's see what you've got.

I don't collect anything personally but I thought it might be cool to see what others come up with.

Feel free to post any non-golf related collections too.

I collect Hogan iron sets. I just got two more bringing my total to around 25 or so. Oldest set is from 1939. There's a thread in here somewhere with details on everything. I'll try and track it down...

Found it. Here's the link that takes me directly to my reply with the list and pics

Ha, you sound like my Dad. He's gone through three.

Thanks. That Medallion set is one of my favorites, didn't even know they have a cavity back version. You have any pictures? I've really slowed down my hunt lately, mainly because I've got a good majority of the sets made. My goal is to get one of each set produced. Its the sets from the 50s that are hard to come by. When they do pop up, they aren't cheap.

My last girlfriend had 3, I'm glad I didn't go far enough to become her fourth

I don't really collect golf stuff...

Breitlings are a bit of a hobby. Only got three which is pretty small by collectors standards but I've got a few more on the horizon and at 25 I've got a fair few years yet to buid up my collection:

I also collected Concorde memorabilia for quite a few years. I got interested in the aircraft at a young age and we had a Concorde pilot in the village took a book I had to NYC and back and got it signed by the crew...plus he gave me a ton of the paperwork from the flight and various other goodies. That was 1997, a few years later I flew aboard it to New York and then found out it was retiring so started gathering some more. Ended up with a decent amount of stuff. Around the time it was retired I could have easily offloded it all for the best part of $10,000 but decided to keep it all. I'm not sure if supersonic travel will be available to the general public for quite a few generations yet...and the stuff isn't worth near $10,000 anymore, and the best part is I don't care!

In the Matrix XTT Standbag:

Driver: Biggest Big Bertha 11*
Fairway Wood: Steelhead Plus 3 Wood
Irons: T-Zoid Titanium Insert irons 3-SWWedge: Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 60.04Putter: Pro Platinum Laguna 34" w/ British Open '04 headcoverBall: ProV1 Rule35 Playing again after a three year hiatus...

thanks! lol, love that phrase: " flat shit and get", lol....and im not sure but it prolly is/was the same 390 in the Cougar. and yes, it does haul ass. i mean, its not so quick off the line like some of todays cars are, but if you're going 40mph and stomp on it you are at 100mph in next to nothing flat. heres a photo of the engine

and heres the interior:

Your right rocket. Todays cars do get off the line quicker but.... the torque those old big block's had was something. Get them going and they would fly. A short story. It was the mid 80's when I was in the Air Force. A freind of mine had that 67 cougar and we were taking a trip somewhere. He let me drive for a while and at some point told me to cob on it. We were running about 30-40 when I jumped on it and like you said in no time we were running over a hundred. Had I ever owned a car like that the cops would have thrown me under the jail.

Also my wife would sell me to have that car. She had a 71 Mach 1 in her youth and still loves old Stang's.

yeah the torque is awesome in this thing for sure. i dont drive it very often but when i do i try to get on it at least once just to clear her out, lol. i havent gotten in trouble while driving the Mustang yet, but I sure as hell got busted once going WAY over 100mph and lemme tell you, that cop was PISSED OFF! And I am VERY lucky he didnt take me to jail too that day.

Holy cow RockeSauce, I thought I was overboard with my collecting, but you're at another level. That's some serious sports memorabilia! Not to mention the Mustangs! Sweet stuff! My cousin had a Mustang collection going when he was younger. He didn't have a fastback, but two Mustangs. I think a '66 and '67. Used to take them to shows, all that stuff. Had kids, sold them... Stinkin' families getting in the way of boyhood dreams.
