Played with both a Scotty Cameron blade and mallet. Much prefer the mallet. It has helped me tremendously with speed control and helps to maintain a balanced swing.

Blade. I prefer the look and feel of them over any of the other monstrosities that people seem to be playing with...

I do like some of the Rife Putters though.

I use a center shafted mallet putter (Taylormade Rossa Monte Carlo 7). I spent hours sampling different types of putters including the Odyssey putters which I had intended on buying. I found that the Monte Carlo had a better feel and was more accurate for me as a beginner (been playing about 6 months). It definitely helped my game and forces me to be more accurate with my address.

I'm currently gaming a Cameron Squareback 1 mallet, but I usually swing a blade, Cameron Newport 2...so, I voted blade.

I'm more than happy with my new Scotty Cameron Studio style Newport blade putter, I've had Nike mallet before and it was too heavy for me for short putts.

Used mallet before, but switched to blade this year. Also changed my strok from straight back and through to an arc.
Changed my grip a little also, feel very comfortable with the putter now.

Started with a Two-ball Odyssey, but switched to an Anser blade because it had a better "feel" to it.
