Pro's never line up "parallel left" (square) to the target?

Ive been watching a lot of golf lately, and been slow motioning a lot of nice swings that I see.

The thing I am noticing most is that these guys never ever line up square to the target line....

They are either open or closed.. I realize this is on purpose to set up shot shaping, but do pros ever hit "straight" shots??

Seems like they are always working the ball one way or the other..

It seems that way.I suppose they can control the flight of the ball when they are shot shaping,a Striaght shooter for a pro is probably not the percentage shot,where as us hackers try to hit it striaght and are happy with a slight fade or draw

99.9999% of the time the camera man is NOT lined up directly behind the player...looks can be very deceiving on the TV.

That's a big part of it. But I bet also, pro's are always trying to shape the ball a little bit. I know I try to because it keeps me engaged in what I'm doing.

Mr. Nicklaus once opined that hitting a straight shot was the hardest thing in the book. It's much easier to work it one way or t'other and if it's good enough for Jack, I can go with it .

square to the target is different than square to the Pin. If they are aiming for a draw and are lining up right, I bet they are square to the aim line. The aim line is in "target" because that is where they want to start the ball.

Fred Couples also sets up uber open. Bey yeah, most of those guys do not try and hit it straight. Working it one way or the other is easier than trying to hit it dead straight.
