i have been play ping eye 2's for about 5 years and worn them down pretty good. i am looking for some blades and have been looking at the mizunos. I have have hit a few of them and like the MP 67 ,MP 32 and the 57's.i know there are some pros and cons between the three i have mentioned.but im looking for some feed back from other people.i can work the ball pretty well both ways and im about a 4-5 handicap. also i know with forged clubs they wear down faster is it worth looking at used ones? any suggestions?

You can get a good deal on the MP 32's at eBay I think. Seen some one there a while back when looking for a friend.

That's what I use and they are great irons. I've had them now for about five years. I've worn a ball size place on the face of the most used irons, but it doesn't affect playability at all. If you take care of them, they'll last a long time.

I hit balls at the range about four days a week and play 18 once a week and my irons could go for another few years at least.

Get the ping's re-grooved. They remain amongst the best irons ever made.

Yeah I think you'll really like them. Most of the newer Mizuno's use basically the same design as the 32's it looks like to me. I'd be willing to guess they feel identical to the 32's. Therefore, no sense in paying double for something that looks and feels nearly the same. ;)

I have also been looking at th 57's as well as the MP-52. I shoot mid to low 80's. Are the 57's over my head? I currently play Taylormade 200's and love them, but they need to be replaced. The 57's look to be similar in style to my current clubs, which is what I want. Any suggestions?

I concur. If you want blades, I'd recommend you try some MP-14s. I cannot seem to get rid of mine. Also, the MacGregor PMB Tours are excellent, if you can find a set.

Man, I got my Titleist ZMs last April and I absolutely love them. I'd definitely give these a go before you buy anything.

First of all lets get something strait...If you are talking about the Mizuno MP-57, it is not a "blade." I would classify the 57's as a forged cavity back styled club. If you want a "blade" get the new MP68's....they are the sweetest feeling club you have ever hit, guaranteed.

I have the MP-57s. I bought them March 2009. I played 100+ rounds and hit range balls probably 50-75 times. I am very picky about them. I clean the face of my irons after every shot, I clean, rinse and dry the clubs after every round. I store them inside the house, clean and dry.

The faces have very slight wear, the soles show a bit, the backs are chattered - (I walked the 100+ rounds). I hoping to use them for 5 years, then retire them.

sure! you can find a good set of used forged irons on most big name ebay stores. make sure you get the right shaft though.

Your going to notice a huge different from your eye2s. as when you look down you will notice about 20% less club head! haha I would make a suggestion of the Mizuno MP-52s. I used to play MP-29s and MP-60's but these are fantastic. For a player's iron they are quite forgiving. Have a hit of the Bridgestone Packet Cavity. I was going to get them and they are very cheap on eBay at the moment. also, have you thought about the i10 irons??

There are irions that are better than Mizuno...I have been playing Titleist and Ping for most of my life and I am a good friend with the guys on the tour vans. They say that they cannot believe how many players prefer the i15's to the more bladed club (s57) however the s57 is a club I would recommend. Also, Titleist said that they think the AP2 is one of the best clubs they have ever made but the new 710CB is not to be over looked. Basically, if you want a better more reliable change with FANTASTIC feedback from the club then go for either PING i15 or S57 OR TITLEIST AP2 or 710CB.
Honestly, take my word for it, they cannot be beaten.

Not at all - Mizuno states that they are aimed at up to a "mid handicap". The MP-57s are a fantastic club and you can get some cracking deals on them now.
