I have Adidas Golflite Tours that are amazingly comfortable. No problem walking 18. They're very affordable, original retail was $70 but you can get them for $35 right now on budgetgolf.com. As the name denotes, they're very light as well. I tried some of the more expensive Adidas line and they felt good but man are they heavy.

I also have a set of Nike Air Zoom Elite II's. I actually think they're pretty hard on the eyes, but they are very comfortable and were on sale for $90 at a local shop. More stable feel then the Adidas, but a bit stiffer and less cushioned feeling. Still easy to walk 18 in them, and I can vouch that they're waterproof in a full rain.

Most comfortable golf shoes I've owned - Mizuno Permaspikes (grr - don't get me started), Bostonian (I miss those babies), and my Foot Joy (Contours? - picked them up this fall when my total POS Callaways that seemed like a good idea at the time were killing my achilles tendons).

If I'm not playing in a tournament and I don't need a water proof shoe (like in the rain or the early morning dew) my most comfortable shoes are likely not golf shoes. My Keen, Rockport, or Merrell walking shoes or my New Balance or Adidas trail shoes all blow the doors off my favourite golf shoes. I actually wear sandals or squash shoes at the range and for indoor golf.

No Crocs golf shoe suggestions?! haha kidding

Honestly, the cheapo FJ E-comforts are extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, my feet move around inside them really badly and I went to stiffer Nikes that are not comfortable at all but fit my foot better. Like someone pointed out, every foot is different, and it's next to impossible to suggest a shoe that's the perfect blend of comfort and functionality over the internet.

do what sam sneed did, Barefoot... ;b

I am thinking of getting away from golf shoes if its not raining. They just tear up my feat, haven't found a pair yet that are comfortable walking. Actually this might help my balance out, since i have horrible footwork in my golf swing. My right foot flies out to quick and my left foot use to slide out alot. when it rained, and i wore golf shoes, i pushed off so much on my right foot it would slide on me alot. Time to tone down the swing.
