Does anyone use white colored grips. I am thinking about getting new ones and was wondering if the white got really dirty. I do not mind washing or taking care of the grips, as I always keep my clubs clean. I am thinking about getting the new decade multicompound grips from golf pride since they come in the midsize and I really like the white color. Thanks!

I had white Winns at one point and they got dirty pretty fast...they sure look nice on a black shafted driver though.

I imagine they would get pretty dirty, even with diligent cleaning. I have black and blue grips and the blue gets fairly dark as the season progresses... whenever I clean them (every 10-15 rounds) I am shocked at how dirty they were.

Also, think of your gloves... do they stay prestine very long... I know mine don't. I would also guess that if you have any black grips, then the rubber would transfer to the white ones pretty easily by way of hands and gloves and also by them in the bag.

I wouldn't do it... but I guess it just depends how often you want to clean them and how much you care if they stay pearly white.

I have one of these on my Driver and so far it isn't discolored or anything, i've had it since the spring.

Good points guys. I think I will just stick with the black and blue ones then. I also thought the grips might show scuff marks from putting my clubs in and out of the bag.

The one thing that is being missed is the advantage of them showing dirt. If you have a black or blue grip that doesnt show dirt... does that mean they arent dirty? The benefit of a white grip is the ability to tell when it is time to clean your grips. Having said that... I live in Florida and play 4-5 times a week. I have the white Iomic Sticky grips and wash them about every three weeks.

They look great for the first couple of rounds and that is it. I took mine off pretty early and got some black GP Brushed Cotton's

I have the both white Iomics and Multicompound grips. You must wipe them down. I use windex and hot water and works pretty well. They are not worth having if you're not anal about cleaning them.

But if you are anal about cleaning them are the Iomics worth it?

This may sound OCD like but I clean mine every week (club heads after each round), regardless of use during a round or at the range. My neighbors must think I am crazy hauling a golf bag in and out of my trunk when it's 25 degrees out. I have the New Decade whites but from cleaning them with a brush it faded them and I would like to replace with the Iomics. Also I actually prefer the feel of the Tour Velvets, are any of the Iomics similar?

Iomic fusion are the comparable grips to the Golf Pride Cord... the Iomic X-Grip are the closest to the tour velvet... Iomic Stickys have the best feel...imo
