i currently use the titleist 904 pt
its 15 degrees and has a stiff v2 proforce ust
i like titleist but i wouldnt mind a change.

im looking for a low profile 3 wood that feels solid not lik you have hit nothing if you no what i mean, of the face and. has a stiff shaft a bit stiffer than the v2 which is to flexible for me .

could you reccomend a club or shafts that would suit me please

Some of the better players i know are using the '07 taylormande burner TP 3 wood. One guy i practice with swears by the thing even though everything else in the rest of his bag is callaway. I dont have a shaft recommondation, but FW's that come stock with Proforce V2 shafts are rare.

I really like the G10s, they're low profile and incredibly solid feeling. I see them with the V2 HL quite a bit, but don't know that I've seen one with a regular V2 in it. I also see them with a Prolaunch Red, in my experience this seems to have a bit firmer feel then a V2, but not sure if you want something that low launch.

Caution if you go low-profile of 3W. My previous 3W and 5W were low-profile. Worked fine off fairway, but I often popped them up in air from the tee.

When you are hitting it off the teebox, tee it VERY low. Or, you might set it on a tuft of grass instead of using tee. (Tuft works best if you have thick, succulent turf grass rather than drier, wispy turf grass)

I borrowed one of the 909F's for a couple of rounds. I didnt notice any difference between it and the older 906F4 model that ive been using. I stuck with my old one.

I love my new i15 15.5. The stock axiv ust red seems to be bit stiffer than the proforce V2 and the axiv is the real shaft.

I absolutely love my 909, neutral face at set up, stiff shaft. Allows a nice fade or subtle draw! Read the Sand Trap review, it is well done! Wait for a demo day then you can actually compare ball flights and feel off of a real range... For some reason simulators just don't do the job! Good luck.

Take a look at Tour Edge fairway woods; I have CB3 which is couple years old and it is hot.,, the current models look sweet also. (mid-shallow face) TourEdge makes very good product; lifetime warranty I believe; they do not maket as heavily as TM, Callaway, Titleist, etc. I also like the looks of the current generation Ping FW Woods. Shaft choice is key. Test them Outside on range if possible.

Just added a 908f2 18.5* to the bag. Love the size and adaptability of this stick. It's there...waiting on you to decide what shot you want to hit.

Workable yet not overly difficult to game on your poor-swing days.

I am in 3W search mode myself and hit the 909F2, 909F3, R9, and G15 today, all on a launch monitor. I really thought I wanted one of the Titleists, but hated the way the F3 setup (too short and stubby looking), and just didn't get wowed by the F2. It really came down to the G15 and R9, both of which I really thought the ball jumped off the club faces. I am pretty sure I am going with a G15, and probably getting a 17* (4W) since I hit the 15* within 20 yards of my driver and want a bit more separation in yardage and hopefully a bit more consistency from the higher lofted club.
