I'll keep this quick...

Is $499 a good price for brand new (still wrapped) Mizuno set of 3-PW MP-57 irons with upgraded Golf Pride DD2 grips? Yes they are real and not fakes. Let me know so I can get this deal done.

Well ... provided that most places sell them for $850 - $900 yeah...are you sure they are real? Check the S/N with manufacturer....

The reason why I ask is that they don't make them anymore. They were discontinued last Fall. So I wasn't sure if that was a good price for 'closeout' clubs.

Um... yes. If you know they're genuine, and you know that they're the right fit for you (flex + length; lie is an easy enough adjust), get them.

Make sure they are the real deal... I made the mistake of getting a set of MP-57's for a great price $469 on ebay. Opened them up and sure enough, counterfeit. I did get my money back plus shipping and handling back to seller. caveat emptor...

Yes, a very good price. I paid $569 CDN for my MP57's this past November. Get em' ..like you said, they are discotinued and will be harder and harder to find "new" as time goes on.
