Living in the midwest, it seems I may have spent too much of the winter lifting/running and not stretching or hitting. Looks like I've lost a fair bit of flexibility, and my ball striking is suffering. I've noticed the tendency to lift my left heel slightly when I'm not focused on it, and the tendency is for my foot to spin in place and open a bit.

I can't help but feel that this may be culprit for the slight fade to my shots, and the inconsistent ball striking (wish is so well hidden with my irons ) My normal shot is a high draw, Does anyone have any input regarding the left heel and ball striking?

All Hogan said about the left heel is that it's of no importance. If it stays on the ground, fine, if it comes up a bit, fine.

I would add that if it does come up, just put it back down in the same place.

It would seem to me that a loss of flexibility will show up most on the downswing as the body not being able to turn fast enough to get the weight on the left side ahead of the club. Then with your weight still on your right side, you might spin out on your left toe if it's up in the air. Is that what's happening?

Two different pros, years apart, said the same thing on lifting the left heel. If you tend to overswing, quieting the left heel can help prevent it.

Also, Recreational had good advice to put the heel back down where it came from.

Focus, connect and follow through!
