i'm very happy with the grips i've put on most of my clubs, but currently my wedges have miss matched grips. i like a softer grip for my 52, 56, and 60 degree wedges. anybody have a recommendation?? winn excel is about all i can think of right now. all i know is that i don't like the winn excel avs xf. i'm open to anything else.

I've put the Lamkin 3Gen on a few clubs and really like it, nice and soft with plenty of grip. I also like that they're not as tapered on the bottom, this keeps the right hand a little more "quiet" which I like for use with wedges.

I have your same philosophy and the Winn Excel grip is what I use on my 52, 56 and 60 wedges. I play the standard Golf Pride Wrap grip on my irons, so it just feels like a softer version of that.

I've tried various DSI grips on my driver/fairway medals, and they are also very soft.

I use Winn DSI durasofts, and they're extremely soft and cushiony

yea...they're a little too soft for me. i think i have an old wedge with a winn excel grip that i'll have to try.

i always plan on regripping my clubs over the winter, but never do. i usually play 2 or 3 rounds first, get fed up with the clubs, and regrip 'em. this year only the driver and wedges need new grips.

I like the X-Grips for my wedges... Stickys for Driver and Hybrids. Undecided on which one I like better for my irons but the Stickys are soft.

Karakal run a little bigger than a standard grip but they are soft. If you like the soft Winn grips try the new Winn Lite Soft... it will make your wedges a little head heavier but I think thats better anyway.

Vokeys come with Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips, those are really nice and give you a lot of control, also they are cheap, I think they go for $4 each one.

I was thinking about trying out the new Winn Lite firms for my scoring clubs - 8-PW and my 52 and 56....have u tried these?

or anyone else try the new Winn Lite's out? i normally run the GP MC ND's which are great, because i dont wear a glove the Winn Lite's look like they might get slick???

This is interesting... I've never had different grips for different clubs. I've always changed them out immediately. I think I'll give this a shot and change up my wedges and see how I like it.

I love the GP MC ND's but with the wedges I could go for a softer grip...

i'm using the same grips as you on my irons, but based on some recommendations i'm using the winn excels on all my wedges now except for my pitching wedge. i find myself using a lot more finesse with the wedges and the soft grips seem to help. i'm very happy with my grips now...gp tour velvet on the woods and 3h, multi compound cord on the irons, and now the winn excels on the wedges.
