Anyone sent a Scotty Cameron in to the Custom Shop lately for some work? Not a complete restoration, but just some adustment work...

If so...what was the turn-around time? Website says 30-days, but was curious if that is accurate.

I don't want to be without my gamer for too long as the season gets underway!

It's a tough call...

I'd not want to be without my gamer that long and don't want to buy or borrow a spare.

Pretty much means that the putter is sent mid-December so you aren't impacted too much.

I sent mine in for a new grip, shaft, shaft band and stamping my initials a couple years ago. It took about 30 days from the day I mailed it til the day I received it back. I'm sure the restoration orders take awhile longer.

I've sent a couple putters in for a regrip, paintfil, stamping, etc and got them all back within 15 days. This was late summer/early fall of 2009 so I dunno what has changed since then.

I haven't done it, but if I were you I would wait if you can. Probably later in the summer when everyone is done jonesing out on the upcoming golf season, they aren't as busy. I assume that all the scotty nuts (I happen to be one of them) are sending in their equipment.

Thanks for the insight, everyone.

I mailed it off yesterday. I'm just getting my initials stamped on the bumper, four leaf clover stamped on the face (toe), lie angle adjustment and heavier weights installed. So...let's hope it's a quick turn around. I golfed today with my backup putter and all I kept thinking was "I WANT MY SCOTTY BACK!!!"

I feel your pain. I had new grip, shaftband, initals stamped and paint color fill done and turn around time was 2 weeks. Well worth the wait.

Yeah I can imagine how that feels. I am thinking of customizing mine, but I think I will wait until I buy my Kombi-s.

I just got mine back. it took about 40 days total. They don't update the site immediately, so your putter will sit there for a few days before the site shows that it has been received. Just a heads up b/c it drove me crazy.

I sent one of my putters, a Gen2 TeI3 Newport, in a few months ago (early December '09) for a full restoration. I took about 65 days to get it back, but that's including the two weeks around Christmas and New Years that the CS employees took off for vacation. Taking that into account, it really only took them about 50 days to get it done.
