Interested to hear what training aids people have.

I have never been a big one for training aids and only have one with another on order. I have a Cameron putting cube which is more of an indictor than and aid. It isolates the ball from the club face so you don't get any back-spin and exagerates a push or pull. It's pretty good but was expensive for what it was:

I have also ordered a strike bag for me and my brother to use, he is struggling with consistency of srike so hopefully he will gain fro it and I will find it a useful practice tool.

The only two "aids" I use are:

1: A weight that attached to my irons to loosen up on cold mornings ( I don't use it very often ).
2: I use a chalk line to throw straight lines on 8 - 10 foot putting lines on the practice green to make sure my alignment is correct.

I used golf shaft, placed on the ground between you and the ball. great for alignment.

Video camera, for those who like to look at the train wrech swing.

Divot & ball flight, tells you everything you need to know about the golf swing. Your swing path, then your ball flight tells you your club face angle. The depth will tell you if your swing is to shallow or to upright.

Video. I bought a kodak zi8. It allows u to advance one frame at a time at 60 frames per second. You can see right away if u did what u think you did. With me it helps to see the reality which is often not what I think I am doing.

Mostly the mirrors at my driving range for almost everything I've been working on, trying to get my brain to accept that what is happening in the mirror is what is REALLY what is going on not what I would like it to be.

I've never gotten on well with mirrors. I find that as you look in the mirror your head angle changes and in turn your spine angle with change causing what you see in the mirror not to be a true reflection of the swing. I used to use mirrors but I went to a video camera a few weeks ago

The only training aid ive ever used is a club on the ground, or now, a couple of those driveway markers for alignment. Bad alignment and set up are probably my worst faults so i have to stay on top of it constantly.

This is about all I do. I'm thinking of getting a weight, although I usually just swing two clubs together. Oh and I put into a cup at the house nightly

A 15' piece of carpet rolled out in my garage with a cup standing up on the other end... Practicig putting, short chips, and full swings.

Alignment sticks and a foam ball, about 8" in diameter that I hold between my forearms on regular shots and pitches. For putting I have one of those "Perfect Putting Drill" yellow things you put down to create a gate for your putter head to pass through.
