Hey from England!

Hi there! I'm Ben.

I started golfing when I was 12, and I'm now 17. However, last year I quit, and I haven't played since. I sold all my clubs too, and I had a very nice set of them.

But now, pretty much an exact year on, I still love watching golf, and decided to join a forum to talk about it. That means the handicap of 21.0 is probably way off, but that's what I left on, so that's what I've entered here. I'm going to buy a set again, and start up. However, because my local golf course is going through major changes to make it an 18 hole course, and it wasn't all that great of a course anyway, I'm going to have to go to the course about 10 miles away. Which brings me onto the next point.

I'm also learning to drive right now, and I'm also saving up for a car for as soon as I pass. I'll need the car so that I can get to this course with my clubs day in day out. So I think I probably wont be starting up till the summer, but hey, I'm sure there's a few people on this forum who don't actually play golf, and just love watching it.

Other interests include, I'm a huge football (soccer) fan, and support Aston Villa, and obviously my home country of England. Hoping for a successful World Cup against you Yanks!

Also a big basketball fan and I'm a part of a basketball forum, supporting the Miami Heat!

Wrestling fan too, I don't know if that's supposed to be a guilty pleasure or what, but I love wrestling.

Running out of things to say here...

I'm a huge fan of Chinese and Indian foods, currys are my favourite though!

As far as video games go, I'm quite a nerd really. I have about 10 games on pre-order right now, but there's another 5 or 6 that I'm going to pick up and haven't pre-ordered.

My favourite game? Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 of course! I'm actually not ashamed to say that back in 03/04/whenever it was, the reason I got into golfing was because I loved the games and wanted to have a feel of the real thing, and fell in love after having a round of golf.

I can't wait for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 of course, especially with the new inclusion of the Ryder Cup. Still confused as to why Rory McIlroy is on the case though!
