Not the most forgiving blades out there. But with a 7.5 handicap, I'm sure you'll manage.

I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the MP32's when I tried them out. I used to play the TZoids pro's years ago so I was sure I'd love all Mizuno's but again, the MP32's aren't for everyone. If you mishit it, you'll know. Now the MP-62's....those I can run with :)

Ahh well the 62's are a bit more pricey, and i kind of want to get a traditional blade. What about the Titleist 695 MB or the 690 MB or 690.MB? (Also I am also wanting to stick with Titleist or Mizuno)

Can't say I'm familiar with Titleist's MB's. I've played a couple of their CB's including the DCI990's which are amazing clubs.

I say if you're already familiar with hitting blades and have confidence in them, go with it. I ended up going with something a bit more forgiving. Plus, you really can't go wrong with Titleist or Mizuno!

Ok thanks. I will go with one of those. Leaning towards MP-32's, but if a set of Titleist comes along I am there.

You can't really go wrong with Players' Irons from Titleist or Mizuno. You might also want to consider Nike's VR Blades, of which there seems to be a huge used supply around here. If you like your current irons, TaylorMade also has the RAC MBs.

Check out the Titleist ZM or ZB too. I've hit mine alongside my dads MP-33, and I prefer the weighting in the ZM and 695 heads.

What do you mean "what do we think"? It's a bit like saying. "I've heard that Titleist Pro V1s are good balls. What do you think?

You claim to play off a single figure handicap and are asking for opinions about an iron which you no doubt know has the reputation as one of the finest irons ever. What do you want people to say? They are designed for low markers, and you won't be doing yourself any favours using them if you aren't a consistent 70s shooter. All you have to do is hits some and you'll know if you are good enough to play them.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

What about the Mizuno MP-33's. I still think they're one of the finest sets of forged irons ever made. I have 2 sets, one for backup when I wear this set out.

You can easily find them in the price range you're looking.

The Titleist 690 MB are very good as well, I'm just more of a Mizuno guy when it comes to irons.

Cheers, Allan

I recently bought a set of MP-32s and I love them. In the past I played Mizuno MX-15s and Titleist DCI 981s and I dont find the MP-32s to be any more difficult to hit well than the Titleists were. One big difference from the Titleists to the Mizunos is that when you mishit the 32s, you know it instantly. The feel of the shot is very different on mishits with the Mizunos.

I've been playing MP-32's for about a year now and love them. I had Mizuno Pro II's before these. The 32's aren't the most forgiving clubs in the world, but that said they aren't they are pretty forgiving for a blade. If you hit it off the toe you really know about it though, massive loss of distance and it stings like hell in the cold. I find the sole grind really good for me (I'm a sweeper), but I reckon they might dig a bit too much for some people. All in all though they are a great club and these is nothing I like more.

I have the 32's and have had them for five years or so and love them. They have a good feel to them and an even better feel when you hit it in the sweet spot. I have to admit though, I've had my eye on the Titleist AP2's for a few months now... lol No reason other than I want them.
