My year so far has been complete horse shit. I have put up a few good rounds (mid 70's) but for the most part it's been a train wreck. Then this week, I made a small swing adjustment (keeping my head still while rotating around my shoulders to eliminate casting and the subsequent snipe that usually follows) and I shot a f***ing 65. 65!!!! Six birdies and one bogey.

This game is just weird, man.

Quite frankly, the two of you make me sick!!!!! Bitching about playing under 80...

WTF????? Actually I'm just kidding.....that is some really good stuff man! Keep it it up! As for the drill and mechanics that you mention regarding rotating the body under you head.....( and I relaize that I am not in a position to be handing advice to the tow of you) but I found an interesting book, very short read by J.F. Tamayo. The book's name is Finnaly: the golf swing's simple secret . Upon reading this book, and using a few drills and a few practice shots, I dropped from 55 to a 49 on my usual front 9. I started loosing balls on the left rough, where I was a habitual slicer with a 58% right of fairway stat. I have now changed that to about 20% right, and 45% left....I am still adjusting my aim. When IU line up properly, it's stright down the middle. I have also picked up yardage bcs I am hittim much more solid. I averaged 165 from my 6i, now i'm about 175. My 3h was about 180 off the deck, and 200 off the tee...now I'm hitting 215 of the tee, and abv 205 from the deck. I read this book in about an hour or so, and found to be the best purchase I have made to improve my game. I bought it for the Blackeberry Kindle for $1.00!!!! paperback is about $12 or so. Take a look, you may find it an interesting read.
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
