Hi all,
I currently use my Cobra GT Cart bag when using my Bagboy push cart. Although the bag is huge, and somewhat heavy, it isn't too bad. But after 18 holes, and a number of rounds, it gets to me. I am thinking of getting a large, many pocketed stand bag, which is lighter, and thinner obviously, as I walk the course more. Do they go "legs side" down on the cart, and if so, is it ok for the bag? Or should one attach the bag sideways? I keep reading the rave comments on the Ogio Gromm. Anyone use this on a push cart? As I said, I want something with many pockets, for keys, cell phone, tees, balls, sunglasses, other accessories, and side pockets for shoes, jackets, gloves etc. And a 14 way divider.

I started using my stand bag with a pull cart and found that the bag would sometimes shift around on me. I ended up removing the legs to allow it to fit better on my cart. You do want the legs to go down (facing the bag supports on the cart) and no, it wont hurt the bag.
Honestly though, if you play on using your push cart all the time, youre better off with a cart bag.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

I put a Burton hybrid bag on my push cart. It's a cross between a stand and cart bag. Lots of storage--14 club slots--putter well-- yet is comfortable to carry too. Recently carried it at RTJ Capital Hills Senator layout. A good hike but doable. The legs can be tucked away. A good option

I have the Ogio Grom bag, and it does have plenty of storage, zipperless ball pocket, water resistant valuable pocket, ball silo, etc. I have not used it with a push cart, but if you want access to all the pockets, you will have to put it on the cart legs down.

I used to carry all the time but I've recently switched over to a pull cart. It's not that I can't carry anymore it's that when I carry I have to be conscious of what I put into my bag. How many balls, rain gear, big versus small water bottle etc. With a pull cart I can stuff my bag so full that the pockets won't zip shut. I kinda like that!

Have you considered a light weight cart bag? I recently got a new bag because my Ogio O-zone was about worn out. I was also really aggravated with the way my clubs kept getting tangled up in the bottom and wanted something with a good 14 divider system. I looked at several different stand bags and couldn't find one that had all the features I was looking for. Then I found this Titleist lightweight cart bag and I couldn't be happier.

It's light enough that I could carry it if I wanted to and plenty light for a push cart. Has lots of pockets, is very well constructed and there is no way my clubs can ever get tangled. Best bag I've ever owned.

I use a stand bag on a push cart. It works wells, the push cart I bought has notches built in so the stand bag legs can fit. There is never and movement of my bag. Love to walk the course and love my new pull cart.

I have a Nike Sasquatch and put it on a clic gear 3.0 legs down without difficulty. I can access all pockets with no problems.

I have an Ogio Vaporlite stand bag. When I bought myself a cheap pull cart (£20 UKP) to see if my stamina was improved I simply unclicked the stand mechanism and removed it. If I ever go back to carrying I know I can just clip it back on and everything will be normal again.

I have the Tour Trek one-click push cart. I think you can only get it at Golfsmith but it is a great push cart perfect for a stand bag.

    • Day 23: weird day, and only had a little bit of time. Just did mirror work again, working on where the elbow is in the downswing
    • I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.
    • Day 443 - 2025-12-17 Made a few swings in testing some things out at another academy. Might pop up on someone else's podcast in a few weeks.
    • Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
    • Day 127 12-17 Backswing and flow practice. Took advantage of the 60 degeee weather(it was 20 degrees Sunday)
