Obviously someone who's never worked in media. They do get normal human beings, but everyone seems abnormal to others. If you did TV golf commentary, there would be ten threads on here praising you for how insightful/funny/sexy you are, and ten bashing you for how stupid/ignorant/boring you are.

Yeah, Nantz is probably as "normal" as it gets. He has his favourites and he typically knows when to play up the drama and when to sit back and let the moment speak for itself. I think he's actually better at college football than golf. But, a Bette Midler reference? Come on! What's next, Celine Dion?

I was there yesterday and noticed a definite lack of excitement. There was a buzz when Phil birdied 14 but the wind left the sails quickly as he played 15. When Fowler and Barnes doubled 12, it became downright boring after. I was at the 17 green when Phil birdied it, and although there was applause, the back nine lacked the thunderous roars that accompany the end of the tournament. Congrats to Justin though.
