Thought the name sounded familiar. I looked through my transactions and found that I purchased my titliest stand bag from him. He gave me a second chance offer on the bag since I lost a previous bid by $2.
Possibly due to the amount of transactions he does everyday he dumps customers that he thinks require a little more attention...not that your request was out of line.

The point is he is refusing to sell to him now, even though he did nothing wrong. It may be his right, but it is kinda screwed up. It was a low ball move on his part, and it does make him look bad.

Agreed. If the details of the original story are correct then this thread isn't in bad taste at all. You can't fail to deliver on a promise that helped make the sell and then be upset when the purchaser has the audacity to ask for what was promised. And the volume of emails he receives is no excuse.

I have asked him some VERY simple questions like, have my irons been shipped yet? Its been 2 days since he's been paid through Paypal. Do you think my buyer rating of 0 has anything to do with him delaying the shipment of my irons?

When I bought from him, I didn't receive a tracking number till a few days after the transaction, but it had already shipped. I got the item 1 day after he sent me tracking.

I just looked at some of his feedback comments on Ebay. He gets the amount of negative and neutral feedback you'd expect to see for someone who sells large a large volume of items. Curiously, someone left him a neutral rating because he only reduced the shipping price on two items combined by one dollar as opposed to what it would have cost to ship them separately. I think the OP has a valid gripe against this guy.

I know someone who bought from this seller some fake clubs. I also believe that most of what he sells is fake. I have some circumstantial evidence (other than the person I know that bought fake clubs from him). His name is Tim Janiga. If you google him you will find reference to an association to Alibaba.com. Alibaba is a middle man website between buyers and sellers. The sellers are all in China, or other Asian nations predominently. If you register with Alibaba.com and search for golf you will see nothing but fake golf clubs being sold. Titleist Ap-2's for $150, Scotty Camerons for $75, etc.

If he is selling fakes it is in his best interest not to really communicate too much with too many people...only unless he has to.

I can say without reservation that if most of the stuff he's selling is NOT fake, then it is DEFINITELY from unauthorized spots (like out the back door at the factory in China where the real things are actually made)...there's no way he can sell what he sells for what he sells them for. It will catch up to him, but right now, he's making too much money to stop. I'd be very careful dealing with TimThePutterman!

Wanted to revive this thread as I was thinking about buying a set of TM Burner Plus irons from his ebay store. All other threads seem to say this guy sells legit clubs until the post above by golfnutatl. Does anybody have any experience with him selling fakes ?
