I just looked at the results and I'm a little surprised that Taylor Made has such a commanding lead over all the others. I expected Callaway or Nike to be out in front. BTW, I voted Ping even though I own a Callaway.

I think TM has consistently made good drivers over the years. They also spend quite a few advertising dollars to influence statements just like that. However, there is a reason a 4-year old club is still in my bag.

In the Bag: TaylorMade R11 TP - TaylorMade R7 TP TS - Cleveland Halo - TM TP 2009 3-PW - Vokey SM 52 - Vokey SM 60 - Rife Barbados CS - ProV1x

No love for Nike and Titleist. Kind of surprising to me, especially with the amount of lower HCs around here gaming the Titleists.

Yea Im not a fan of all of them but in high school seriously everyone had the Big bertha's simply because they were the best out at the time and were great drivers. TaylorMade had the burners with the bubble shaft, lol, at the time. I owned one before my big bertha. Obiviously the bubble shaft was a piece of crap/ marketing deplot or they would still be using bubble shafts. My great big bertha was awsome just too small for today. The only other one that came out was after the biggest big bertha and that was that Titleist 975 driver or whatever the name of it was. Everyone wanted to get those then but they were pricey.

Oh man, thanks for the memories! My first real driver was a Callaway Great Big Bertha... I remember a lot of lawn mowing went into that purchase. In high school I swapped it out for a Titleist 975D when they came out... and come to think of it, that is still a good club.
