Looking to play 4 courses in Hilton Head, not counting the courses at Palmetto Dunes (staying there and playing there)

We have decided not to play the courses at Sea Pines, so other suggestions would be appreciated, including off island.

A packager I talked to mentioned OldField, a Greg Norman design....has anyone played it?

What are your favourites?

Thanks

Two great places to play are Hampton Hall which is a Pete Dye course and Golden Bear Indigo Run which is a Jack Nicklaus course. Hampton Hall is my favorite course in the Hilton Head area. Sea Pines Heron Point by Pete Dye is also a great track. Didn't really care for the "walk past the green and peak at the OCEAN COURSE at Sea Pines."

A second for the Golden Bear at Indigo Run. You said nothing in Sea Pines but if you haven't played Harbor Town and you have the money, it is a great course. I also like the Country Club of Hilton Head. There are many courses just off-island that are less expensive. Crescent Point is one I have played many times.
