Playing my first tournament at new course.(what do you think i'll shoot?)

I'm playing my first tournament at my new club tommorow.
My official handicap is 28 so I'll have to discuss that with the organizer.

it's a par 70, 6500 yards from the tips, I've only played it once at that was last year. I shot a 90 and I was terrible back then.

Are sure your handicap is 28? You list your index as 13.1. You also say you shot a 90 there when you were terribad.

That's what I think my handicap is around.

There was a big mix-up with handicaps last year, mine never got changed.

it's an easy course and it's only a par 70.
My normal course is a par 72.

So why is your official handicap 28 but you shoot in the 80s?

I forgot it was a par 70. I'll adjust my prediction to an 85. The reason why I wouldn't go any lower is because it's your first tournament. You will likely have some nerves...always happens for me.

Big handicap problem.

The guy who's the Junior Officer took the scorecards but never entered them. He gave us handicaps but not official ones. my home course is 128 from the tips. got the yardages wrong, 6200 yards. 5700 metres. I can hit 2, 5 irons onto most of the greens. It's a narrow course so I'll probably be hitting a 3i off the tee.
