If I'm on, I can give anyone a run for their money. If I'm off, I could lose to a total scrub.

Damn-I knew scratch golfers probably considered me a "scrub", but it hurts to read it...

It is an art to beat fellows with the same handicap and maintain that handicap for the next match.

The match should be competitive if we really do have the same handicap. After ten games it should be near 5,5 otherwise one of us is heading in towards a different handicap.

My handicap is so high, I wouldn"t have any objection playing against someone with the same handicap. I'm getting better every time I play, so confidence is building.

Yeah I could beat another 5 or 6 handicap...but I would have to play well. I mean I am always capable of shooting an 85 on an off day!

The big "thing" here with relation to a handicap is how does that persons handicap get to where it is? I mean a guy could be a 10 handicap but usually make 3 triples in a round. That is 6 of his strokes and when you put that into a match play format it is very different...

It depends on the course.
If it's my new course... I don't think so.

There's ditches and tree's lining the fairways and that doesn't really suit my game (bomb and gauge)

If it's a long, open course I'd do pretty well.
