Good deal. Hope it does some good for your game! I have yet to trust my swing with a pro. Never taken a lesson in my life. maybe I'm afraid of having to make too many changes, since my swing is not "textbook". Maybe I'm just too much of a control freak to let someone else take control of my game. Or maybe it's because I view teaching pros kind of like Chiropractors, in that once you go for a few sessions you have to keep going back all the time...

I can see that. I was afraid to go as well. I have been playing for a while and finally decided to go. What got me was I finally saw myself on video at the beginning of this year and noticed some things that were off. I decided to go this guy I am seeing now. I haven't had to make many big changes, they are all quite small because my swing is fairly close as it is. It is just hard for me to see things in my swing by myself and my friends don't know what to look for. I always heard that feel is not necessarily real as far as what you are doing in your swing. I didn't feel like I was doing some of the things I was actually doing within my swing....I was kind of amazed!

That's an interesting question. I think that's what's going to have to happen at the next Pepsi Tour event I play. Its nice to see crowds. I will definitely let everyone know what's coming up.

Pepsi has a golf tour?

Here is a list of Mini tours.

Mini Tours

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

    • No. If there was a place no closer to the hole that afforded some relief, you could have dropped there. If you were truly as far away from the hole as you could, in the "back" of the bunker, then… your options were basically to play it as it lies (lied? lay?) or take the penalty stroke and drop behind the bunker (keeping the point where the ball was between your drop and the hole).
    • Day 121 - Had a tournament today, not my best. I was hitting everything off the heel.
    • Day 4 (5 May 24) - mirror work focused on “feel of weight” transfer onto lead foot.  Continued work to develop trust in lead foot being able to handle full weight pressure…
    • Ok, so I’m still confused here. Are you saying I could have used the only available Spot in the bunker even though it was 6-7 feet closer to the hole?
    • Yes. If you choose to take the ball out of the bunker instead of taking maximum available relief… it costs a stroke.
