I was from '95 to '01. Course isn't too bad - not the best but not the worst. It's pretty straightforward golf with length and wind being it's major defenses.

Man, you guys are on a roll today.

I am torn on the issue of magnetic bracelets.

Until about 2 years ago, I thought like many of you that these things were useless. I had been experiencing acute shoulder pain for about 8 months. While on vacation, I stopped at a PGA superstore. The salesman was aggressively trying to sell me anything but I kept saying I was only looking because my shoulder may force me to give up golf. After numerous "Yeah, sure, I bet", he convinced me to try a Trion-Z bracelet to help with my shoulder. After wearing the bracelet for 3 weeks, my shoulder no longer bothered me even without pain medicine. I kept wearing the bracelet for a few months before I misplaced it.

I'm still not sure if this thing really worked, if enough time had passed for my shoulder to heal on it's own, or whether it was due to the placebo affect, but my shoulder stopped hurting and I've had no problems since.

I've been waiting on some other part of my body to begin hurting to tryout another one but thankfully everything's working fine right now.

Just got one of these bad boys from Scheels the other day.

$30 for a Power Balance bracelet. From what I've seen on the internet about the Power Balance, there just MIGHT be something to these things.

My first and only round w/ it I didn't shoot any better, however. But I've been having a lingering right hamstring issue in my right leg that seems to have cleared up a bit since wearing it.

So, I guess I can't say if they "work" for sure or not? Whatever. I'm a bracelet fan anyway and these things look pretty cool.

Oh, and mine is pink in color. Just because I'm like that...............

I got a Trion Z bracelet to were when I play golf.....think I paid $10 for it.

Anyway, I also shattered my left wrist in 1998 and now have a metal plate and 13 screws in it.....thought the magnetics would help.........never noticed improvement when I wore it or didn't.....now it's just a piece of jewelry...sometime i were it & sometimes I don't.

But hey, check out the MLB pitchers....they usually were two or three of them around their neck. Does it help them focus and pitch better?

Magnets have been around for decades. They have been made into shoe liners, mattress pads, necklaces, ect...
Many folks report benifits from their use... especially arthritic's.

A complete waste of maoney. There is no evidence that these things do anything. But, for some reason, many people think they look "cool", whatever that means.

People resort to anything when they;re desperate...sad when it gets down to a magnetic bracelet though.

Put one around your exhaust and your car might stop breaking down. Same chance of that happening as it is of fixing any body pains.

I wear a Phiten bracelet. I previously broke the scaphoid bone in my left wrist and it never healed properly (even after surgery) due to poor blood circulation in that part of the wrist. I share this because (call it desperate or whatever) I was looking for anything that might help in the slightest way, even if it is just in my head. I can say that when I wear it vs. when I don't is not a big difference, but I do notice...mainly in cold weather. As many, most of which have not used them or anything similar, will attest they are not magic, but it doesn't mean they do not serve a purpose (whether it is real or as a placebo). Hope that helps.

All the negativity in this place about the bracelets just sucks.

As I said before, I wear mine mostly because I like the way it looks. BUT, again, as I said before, there looks to be some evidence linking "improved physical health and well being" to SOME of these bracelets.

I have a Power Balance bracelet. Google it and read some reviews on them.

Do I believe that the bracelet really does anything for me? I would honestly say it's very possible, but I won't say it does or not. I've had a lingering hamstring issue in my right leg that has seemed to clear up nicely since I've had the bracelet.

Has my golf game improved since I've worn one? Actually, no, it hasn't.

Did I get one of these bracelets to improve my golf game? Nope.
