ap1s or ap2s

you gotta be a little more specific than that man... what about the ap1's and ap2's? theyre both good clubs... ap1's are for higher h'cap, ap2's are for lower...

what else is there to say about it>

With the 710 model's i don't think you can go wrong with either. They are both playable to around where your handicap is. If you progress below to a 5 handi you might outgrow the AP1's though.

I have a set of 2008 AP1s but I wish I had bought the AP2s. I now play Forged 690.CBs because I got a great deal on a "like new" set of 3-PW.
I would go with the AP2s.

If youre only 11, then i would go with the AP2. You will grow into them, eventually.

Why decide between them? If you're capable of hitting the AP2s - and you are - you can certainly hit the short irons from the set. If you're entertaining the idea of AP1s, I'm guessing you're more worried about your long irons than your short irons. The AP1/2 sets are the first ones I've been aware of that were designed to be mixed. You can get, say, ?-6 from AP1 and 7-W in AP2.

If you're just 11 years old, more distance will take care of itself as you grow bigger. Work on keeping that swing smooth!

I would go with the AP2s. I think you'll outgrow the AP1s. Another idea is to get a combo set. 7-PW AP2s and 4-6 AP1s - Or whatever combo you'd like. I've heard their is a difference in the loft degree (I think AP1s were lofted stronger?) between the sets, though. So if you went the combo route that would be something to look into.

Some of you are ridiculous. He will never "outgrow" the AP1's in the sense you guys are talking about.

There is a degree difference in the AP1 and AP2, but this is because the AP1 launches the ball higher for an equal loft. The differences, among other things, allow for the sets to be mixed.
