We all understand that GI irons do what they're set to do, which is be more forgiving but come on...more mis shotswith a blade doesnt FORCE anyone to practice. You practice because you want to practice, you don't need a mis shot on a blade to tell you that. It's a silly point to make... It would make more sense to say you want to practice more so you can hit blades...not get blades so you can practice more.

I'm as much of a hardcore blades guy as anyone on here, but would I recommend blades as a way to improve? No. That's just plain backwards. I personally work on my game to be able to enjoy playing blades and to be able to play difficult courses if the opportunity arises. Playing something that takes away from the enjoyment of the game because it might make you better in the long run is a bit too masochistic for me. So what happens when you think you're there - then you switch to GI irons and go from scratch to a + index? Doubtful. Play blades because you know what you're doing and you enjoy doing it. Any other reason to put them in the bag is flawed logic.
